How do I assign a zApp or Book?

zApp:

To assign a zApp click on the ‘Assign a zApp’ tab in MY LIBRARY. Now click on the orange icon with students on it in the Action Column.

A pop up menu will appear and you have the option to select:

• The opening date/time
• Due date and time
• Time limit
• Feedback Option
• Hint on or off
• What grading system you would like
• Completion message

Select 'Assign' when you are ready to send the zApp to your students.

Book:

Click on the Assign a Book tab from within MY LIBRARY and click on the orange icon with students on it in the Action Column.

There is a slightly different way to assign zApp Books to students.

Firstly, you can choose whether to select ‘Standard Pathway’ or not. Standard Pathway will sequentially assign each chapter to students in the order they are set out in the book. If you would like to assign just one chapter or select your own order to work through the zApp Book then unselect Standard Pathway.

To assign a Book you will need to select a class and/or subgroup.

You have the option to select:

• The opening date/time
• Due date/time
• Time limit
• Feedback option
• Hint on or off
• A grading system
• Completion message

You have the option to apply the same conditions to all zApps and all chapters, meaning the preselected options will apply for each zApp and each chapter.
