Can I use other author’s zApps in my zApp Book?
Yes, you can import ANY zApp that you find on sQuizya into your own zApp Book! Here’s how:
- Add the zApp you wish to use to My Library. (If you wish to alter any part of the zApp first, import the relevant questions into a new zApp, where you can edit, add to and make any changes necessary)
- In Step 2 of the zApp Book Creator, add a new chapter and click on ‘Import zApps’.

- Choose the Library that contains the zApp you want to import: My Library, which contains any zApp or zApp Book that you have saved from the sQuizya or School Libraries, that has been assigned to you or that you have published previously; or Work in Progress, which contains any zApp or zApp Book that you are currently in the process of creating or have published previously. Click ‘Filter zApps’.
- Select the relevant zApp. Remember to be mindful of the copyright status of the zApp. Click ‘Import zApp’.

- The zApp will appear in your zApp Book and can be re-ordered or removed as required.
You are free to reproduce, modify, extract and share work from any zApp or zApp Book into another zApp or zApp Book within the sQuizya platform. However, if the author of the original zApp imposed copyright on its contents, any question that you import from it will prevent your resulting zApp from being shared outside of your institution.
